DIY Goat Feeder
Check out this goat feeder setup I built for the goats!
We used to feed them inside their goat house, but with these boys and their big horns, it was honestly an accident waiting to happen. One wrong hook to the leg and you’d definitely feel it later! 😅
This goat feeder setup keeps feeding time safer and way less stressful for both people and goats. I used two 10-ft 2×6s (you can also use 2×4s depending on herd size) and anchored it with a 24” 2×4 post hammered into the ground for stability, then secured it with screws.
When it rains, I build a similar feeder that’s temporarily mounted just inside the goat house to keep everyone dry.
Simple build, safer feeding, happier goats — and you’ll love it too! 🐐🐴🫏💛

This move is a huge undertaking, and it comes with a lot of expenses — from transporting the animals safely to building new shelters, fencing, and feed storage areas. Every animal deserves a secure, comfortable place to call home, and we’re working hard to make sure that happens. But we truly can’t do it alone. Donations and community support are what make it possible for rescues like Fuzzy Faces Refuge to keep doing what we do best — giving animals a second chance at life. 💚
Your contribution, no matter how big or small, goes directly toward materials and supplies to rebuild the refuge from the ground up. Whether it’s a few bales of hay, a load of lumber, or funds for fencing, every dollar makes a difference. Together, we can create a safe and happy new home for the goats, horses, and other animals who rely on us every single day. Thank you for being part of this mission and helping us build a brighter future for them! 🐐🐴🫏💛

About Me
My passion is helping goat rescues and animal rescues in North Carolina
Through my business I was introduced to a home builder by the name of Jerry Pounds. He owns and operates an animal rescue in Benson NC called “Old Cowboy Animal Rescue”. July 2020 I decided to visit the animal rescue and donate some of my time. When I got there, I fell in love with the goats and donkeys.
From that day forward through volunteering, awareness, donations and marketing it has been my top priority to help goats and donkeys in any way I can.

My Mission
My mission has been to make a difference in the lives of people, goats, donkeys, goat rescues, animal rescues and farm animals in need by providing hands-on help and support. Whether it’s helping put up fencing, building a shelter, or providing hay, straw, or feed to animals, it gives me joy and a sense of purpose to be able to help.
- Changing lives helping rescues and farmers in need.
