Help Horse Rescue
Please help this horse rescue. They need shelters that were damaged during the storms and also need fencing. ππ«
We need to help this horse rescue. π΄π«
Recent storms have caused significant damage throughout their property and they are asking for support to help them recover.
I have met Lisa, the owner of this horse rescue who takes care of 28 animals. Most of their shelters need to be repaired in order to ensure they can continue operating at full capacity and providing the best experience for the horses and other animals who rely on their rescue.
Lisa is the owner of Believe Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation Center, Inc. in Roseboro, North Carolina, a 501c3 nonprofit where she cares for horses that were once abused and neglected.
Help Horse Rescue With Shelters and Fencing.
When I drove over to meet her and to assess the situation, I found that many of her shelters were significantly compromised, with blown-out sidewalls and damaged roofs. When I walked around the property you can clearly see areas that were very wet due to the recent storms that caused extensive flooding across the property, altering water flow.
To improve the situation, I would like to help this horse rescue with fencing to enclose a large field. This field contains a pond for drinking water and a large shelter, as shown in the photo. This will ensure all horses have access to a dry, safe area.
I'm reaching out for your support. Your contributions, no matter the size, will directly provide the necessary help and materials to make a difference for this horse rescue.

A safe place to rest.
A safe place to rest is a simple gift, but for a rescue horse, it’s everything. That’s why I’m so happy I was able to complete two shelters! One is a cozy new home for a loving mamma and her son, and the other provides welcome protection for several of our other wonderful horses.
The best part? This was all accomplished at absolutely no cost to the rescue. Itβs a testament to the power of community and the impact of your contributions. While you all know about my soft spot for goats, my commitment to these incredible horses is just as strong. π π
See where your donations go! These structures are more than just wood and nails; they are a sanctuary built by your kindness. Help me continue to provide for every animal that needs help. Your donation today will fund feed, medical care, and future projects just like this one.
Meet Cremella and Noah!
Cremella gave birth in March 2025, after less than two months at the rescue Iβm helping with. I need your help to build a specialized shelter because she becomes very anxious in an enclosed barn. She is prone to sunburn, and we want her and her baby to live stress-free
Cremella is a wonderful mom, learning to trust the new humans around her with her baby, Noah. We are allowing her to continue to decompress, as it must be scary for her. Cremella was sold at two different auctions in the last four months, on top of having a baby in a brand new place.
Please help me help them!
