When I first learned about Western North Carolina

When I first learned about Western North Carolina, I wanted to get involved. I started researching on Facebook and found a few groups. Their instructions were to message or email them for more information.

After sending messages and emails to four different groups and not hearing back, I decided to just get in my truck and drive.

My first trip to Western NC

This was my first trip to Western North Carolina. My plan was to drive to Hickory and Boone to help build shelters and fences, and also bring hay and feed for the farm animals in those areas.

Everything you see was donated. My truck was full. Thank you all for donating today.

My trip to Burnsville

This was my trip to Burnsville, in North Carolina, to help build a goat shelter for eight fainting goats. I had helped rehome goats from a friend I met on one of my previous trips to Hendersonville.

It was a very productive day, and I even made a few new friends.
