Starting in November 2025 Fuzzy Faces Refuge is relocating to a new home! We’re thrilled to announce that our rescue family is growing — and we’re moving into a bigger, better space to help even more animals in need!
But we can’t do it without you.

The Goat House I Built For Free
This is what I LOVE to do. 🐐 Here’s the goat house that Paul and I built for Smith Farm Goat Sanctuary in Fuquay-Varina, NC! The rescue reached out because they’re expecting a few new goat surrenders, and I wanted to make sure those newcomers had a safe, cozy place to call home. ❤️
This project was done completely free of charge—I never ask for payment for materials or my time when it comes to helping rescues. 🐾🐐🐎

Welcoming Goat Kids To The Farm
It was brought to my attention that a local nursery and strawberry farm had inherited two goats—and one of them, Mama, was pregnant. They had a small setup with just one goat house, so we had to make a few improvements to get it ready, including adding fencing to separate the male goat, Buttons, before the babies were born.
One Saturday, I stopped by—and this is what I found: the babies had arrived! 🐾🐐🐎

Meet Cremella and Noah!
I’ve just finished building two much-needed shelters for these rescue horses: One for mamma and her son, and another for a few other horses at the rescue.
This project was done entirely at no cost to the rescue, demonstrating how your generous donations directly support these animals. While you all know about my soft spot for goats, my commitment to these incredible horses is just as strong. There is still lots to do and I need your help and support! Please read more.

Western North Carolina
My Many Trips to Western North Carolina
I have made nine trips to support Western North Carolina in Burnsville, to help build a goat shelter for eight fainting goats. I had helped rehome these goats from a friend I met on one of my previous trips to Hendersonville. I also brought hay and feed for the farm animals in those areas.
It was a very productive day, and I even made a few new friends.
Please help me help them.
